Now that the first tweet of the year is taken care of I can talk about what I really wanted to say.  It is still Food related (well drink related anyway) but it is too lengthy for Twitter.

As some of you may know by now, I have, sometimes, been known to mix my coffee and sweet tea together.  It is a treat that I have only recently discovered in my life.  It is about half Sweet Tea and half Coffee, give or take.  This was created to help soften the blow of how terrible gas station coffee can be most of the time.  I found that it really helped turn a bad situation into a (mostly) pleasant one.  Until now though, the drink was used to remedy two bad drinks into a decent one.  Well, I just now had a cup of absolutely delicious coffee mixed in with an absolutely delicious sweet tea made from a real southern mom…..and it was AMAZING!  So much so, I decided to capitalize the word “amazing” and put an explanation point at the end of that last sentence.  Suffice to say, I think this drink can stand alone in a world of other delicious drinks and not have to sit sideline to only be a last resort effort to remedy poorly made drinks.  That is all.  Happy New Year.
