Las Vegas. Well, I sort of got busy and I did not ever write anything yesterday, like I said I would. The main things I remember is Wolfs bass. The night before, it broke, and so he needed to fix it before we played…..what started out as a simple task of removing the back plate, so that he could fix the neck of his bass turned into about 6 people hovering around his bass throwing ideas out left and right. The best parts about situations like that are the subtle little eye contacts that I get to share with Wolf. I mean he usually just sits back and watches the mayhem take place and all the while our goal is to just not bust out laughing at how serious these peeps are taking this thing….it rules. There were some super sweet people that helped him out and that ruled but it was def a funny sitchuation. Anyway, then we played the show. It was fun for sure. Then again we always try to have fun, no matter the situation. The funniest thing to me about this whole Las Vegas thing is that we actually bought a hotel room for the first time in over a year. You see for the most part we just punk rock it and sleep in the van or where ever. But it is Vegas so we decided to get a hotel room since we had a day off the next day. On to our day off…. Woke up in the Excalibur Casino/Hotel today…that ruled. We all decided we were going to splurge and go see a show. So of course we went to see Believe by Chris Angel…..MINDFREAK!!!! But he doesn’t do shows on Mondays….how convieneint. So we went to see Cirque De Soleil Performs The Beatles….but it was sold out. So….we decided to go see Carrot Top…yeah, like I said not our first choice….but at the end of the day, he was pretty crazy. I mean it snowed, there were strobes, and plenty and plenty of other props, and productions and energy. Pretty sweet. Again…………not our first choice. Other then Carrot Top we just walked around everywhere to see it all and we ate. That’s it. It was awesome though. Question…Have you ever been to Las Vegas?? Did you like it, or is it over rated??
