So I just got pulled over by a cop. My license is expired since I have been on this little tour since my birthday. Anyway, when he told me that he wasn’t going to write me any tickets or anything I said, “thanks, well let me get you one of my cds”. Since I am doing a few spot dates with my solo stuff, all I have are those Cds but I figured that would be perfect since I am in Texas and it is more of a chill nature. Well then, he asks, “well what’s the music sound like?” I say, “Country” (just to keep it simple) Then he says, “Nevermind then, I don’t want one, I like more of that heavy stuff, it will just be one more thing to keep up with.” Anyway, I just shook my head because I instantly thought of every time The Chariot has been pulled over and the cops want nothing to do with our “heavy” sound and yet here I am in Texas with my stuff and all he wants is a heavy band. I don’t know if that is quite “irony” but I think it might be close. Josh
